Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
This notice describes the rights available to California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA),
with respect to the sale and sharing of personal information.
1. About This Notice
Glamasiacorner, operated by GLAMASIA LLC, provides this notice to California residents as required by the CCPA and CPRA. It addresses only those rights that relate to the sale and sharing of personal information and to the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information.
This notice supplements, and should be read together with, our Privacy Policy. It is not intended to repeat the disclosures made there regarding the categories of personal information we collect or the purposes for which we use it.
Terms such as “personal information,” “sensitive personal information,” “sale,” and “share” carry the meanings given to them under the CCPA and CPRA.
2. Our Position on the Sale and Sharing of Personal Information
We do not sell personal information in exchange for monetary compensation. We also do not sell the personal information of consumers we know to be under sixteen (16) years of age.
We do not sell personal information for money.
Certain advertising and analytics technologies may qualify as “sharing” under the CPRA, where applicable.
You may opt out of such sharing at any time, free of charge.
The CPRA defines “sharing” more broadly than a sale. It includes disclosing personal information to a third party for cross-context behavioral advertising, whether or not money changes hands. Our website may use cookies, pixels, tags, software development kits, and comparable technologies provided by analytics and advertising partners.
Where those technologies operate in a way that constitutes sharing under the CPRA, the opt-out rights described in this notice apply. We provide this disclosure so that California residents can exercise their choices with confidence, even in the absence of any sale of personal information.
3. Right to Opt-Out of the Sale or Sharing of Personal Information
California residents have the right to direct a business not to sell or share their personal information with third parties. You may exercise this right at any time.
Exercising this right is free of charge. We will not deny you goods or services, charge you a different price, or provide you with a different level of quality because you have submitted an opt-out request.
Once we receive your request, we will act on it as soon as reasonably practicable and, in any event, no later than fifteen (15) business days from the date it is received. Where required by applicable law, we will also notify third parties to whom the personal information was sold or shared.
An opt-out submitted through a browser-based mechanism applies to the browser and device from which it was submitted. If you clear your cookies, use a different browser, or use a different device, you may need to submit your preference again.
4. Right to Limit the Use and Disclosure of Sensitive Personal Information
Where a business uses or discloses sensitive personal information for purposes beyond those permitted under the CPRA, California residents have the right to direct that business to limit such use and disclosure.
Where we collect sensitive personal information, we use it only for purposes the CPRA permits without a limitation right — for example, to complete a transaction you have requested, to provide the goods or services you have ordered, to ensure security and integrity, to prevent and investigate fraud, and to enable service providers to perform services on our behalf.
We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for the purpose of inferring characteristics about a consumer. Because our use is limited to the permitted purposes described above, the right to limit may not apply. Where it does apply, you may submit a request using the methods set out below, and we will honor it in accordance with applicable law.
5. How to Submit a Request
California residents, or an authorized agent acting on their behalf, may submit an opt-out or limitation request through any of the following methods:
- Email: write to support@glamasiacorner.com using the subject line “California Privacy Request — Do Not Sell or Share.”
- Cookie and tracking preferences: adjust your preferences through the cookie consent tool on our website, where such a tool is made available.
- Opt-out preference signals: where supported, we treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal transmitted by your browser or extension as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for that browser or device.
- Browser controls: most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies through their settings menu.
So that we can process your request accurately, please confirm that you are a California resident, describe the request you are making, and provide an email address at which we can reach you. Please do not include payment card numbers, government identification numbers, or similar sensitive details in your message.
6. Verification and Response Timeframes
A request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information is not a verifiable consumer request under the CCPA and CPRA, and we will not require you to create an account in order to submit one.
We may, however, take reasonable steps to confirm that a request is genuine, and we may decline to act on a request where we have a good-faith, documented belief that it is fraudulent. Where a request requires verification, or where an authorized agent submits a request on your behalf, we may ask for information sufficient to confirm your identity or the agent’s authority to act. Information provided for this purpose is used only to process the request.
We will acknowledge receipt of a request within ten (10) business days and will respond substantively within forty-five (45) calendar days. Where reasonably necessary, we may extend that period by a further forty-five (45) calendar days and will inform you of the extension and the reason for it.
7. Other California Privacy Rights
California residents also hold the rights to know, access, delete, and correct personal information, together with the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising any privacy right.
Those rights, and the procedures for exercising them, are described in our Privacy Policy at https://glamasiacorner.com/privacy-policy/ and are not restated in this notice.
8. Updates to This Notice
We may revise this notice from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, in the technologies used on our website, or in applicable legal requirements.
Any revised version will be posted on this page together with a new effective date. We encourage you to review this notice periodically.
